Courtney began designing various goodies and sewing them together in her childhood years. She now sews waxed canvas bags from her workshop right outside Portland, OR. She lives with a dog, two cats, a turtle, and her husband Dan.

Dan is a New Orleans transplant to the NorthWest w/ a degree and many years experience in computer/web related goings on. He is a very fast runner and an excellent cook. He too shares his home w/ a dog, 2 cats, a turtle and his wife Courtney.

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders
All of our patterns are finely tuned and we go through a long prototype phase before we introduce a style into our permanent collection. Because of this, it can be quite difficult to facilitate custom orders.
We formerly tried to facilitate most requests, but it is very difficult to make a perfect bag the first go-around, and it can be quite costly to make a pattern a few times for a single order.
For these reasons we are no longer accepting custom orders.

Care instructions
For waxed canvas bags:
Do not use soap or dry clean. Remove any dried on stains with a nubby cloth - dry scrub until spot removed. Damp scrub if needed.
For any bare spots, rewax with Martexin Original refinishing wax. Available via several online retailers.
